Has anyone wired a manual switch to be able to turn the cooling fan on/off manually on an Integra (I have a 96 GSR). If so, how did you wire it?

I cut the positive line to the radiator fan, connected a new wire that ran into the inside, connected to the switch. Switch connected to an inline fuse, then went straight to the battery. Ground line was left alone, and the free wire was capped off. Simple and easy, just remeber to turn it on. [img]wink.gif[/img]

Yeah, that would work too, and would probably be better. Mine never worked, which is why I didn't care about cutting it. [img]wink.gif[/img]

so u can run your fan without a/c to cool it between runs.

Why not do as Rabbit says except don't cut the positive wire, just tap into it. You'd retain automatic control and add the manual control.
Out of curiousity, why would you want to do that?
